Joe Lewis, world heavyweight champ, sewing on his tech sergeant stripes. April 10, 1945.
In my opinion, Joe Louis is the greatest Heavy Weight Champion of All-Time.
Reblogging in honor of the Champ’s birthday today!
New specs, old face. Laziness has me sporting a goatee, which I swore I wan’t going to do again, but damn I’m too tired to shave my chin.
So last nights game
we got to go in through the visitors locker room tunnel because my dad is a bit hobbled, so that has kinda fun, coming out of the tunnel and onto the court. Thaddeus Young was in the tunnel signing for fans as we walked through. I sat a couple seats over from Rob Parker, I kinda miss hearing him on the radio every day, Parker and the Man was my favorite show. That matters when you don’t watch TV.
The Palace staff went nuts with the t-shirts, we accidentally got 6 of them between us, gave a few to some kids in the stands. And the Stones won, so a fond farewell to a rough season. All in all a good night.
