Got a wood case for the crypt as well.
A small scratch built bookshelf, an overview of where the cave and cellar meet, and a little bit of throne room.
The dragons treasure stash, made mostly from beads, and a pitfall in the cavern. I never really understood the hole in the floor, it’s not as if anyone was going to drop there.
Not a big whoop, but I love this little straw pile. I’ve tried to re-do it, but it’s never been that good since.
Oh, and all of the doors are hinged, and do work.
The other half of the Dungeon Dwellers project, the Crypt of the Sorcerer. The general idea is, you start in the crypt, work your way down to the lowest level, and if you survive, you end up in the top left corner of the Cavern of Doom. I think I dug this one more, just because it didn’t have wonky cave walls to deal with.
Something a little different, a few years back I took a commission to turn a 2d dungeon crawler, called “Dungeon Dwellers” from the late 70’s early 80’s, and build a 3d version of the map. It was a fun, challenging project. We found some interesting stuff, like just because stairs are drawn on the map, doesn’t mean they actually existed, so we had to ad some floors and stuff to bring stairs into existence. At Gencon that summer, I actually got to roll the dice and play on it, and a few people recognized the game with a big “OH WOW”, it had always been a flat map, so the 3d realization was pretty exciting.
